The Bridges Education Group is an organization dedicated to advancing the intellectual, creative, and social-emotional lives of students everywhere. We advocate for the development of strength-based and talent-focused educational programs (SBT) and for further research and development of SBT models, techniques, and practices. The Bridges Education Group is comprised of Bridges Academy, a demonstration school serving Grades 4-12; The Bridges 2e Center for Research and Professional Development; and Bridges 2e Media. It also is affiliated with the Bridges Graduate School for Cognitive Diversity in Education, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.

Bridges Academy is a college preparatory school for Grades 4-12 dedicated to understanding and educating gifted and highly gifted students with learning differences (twice-exceptional or 2e students) and fostering a successful academic and social experience for our students and the broader community.

Bridges empowers students to thrive academically and socially through small classes and differentiated instruction, creating an environment in which gifts are recognized and developed, and learning differences and disabilities are accepted. Many students come to Bridges defined by their challenges but graduate defined by their strengths and talents.

The Bridges 2e Center for Research and Professional Development educates and supports educators and the broader community in the identification, understanding, and education of twice-
exceptional students.

By seeking out and developing best practices through research,
curriculum development, outreach, and teacher training, the 2e Center allows us to develop and share our knowledge to benefit this underserved population.

Bridges 2e Media publishes and Variations2e magazine. These publications provide readers with high-level information and perspectives about twice-exceptional (2e) education and cognitive diversity. They cover a broad range of topics that are essential for all educators, parents, and professionals.

The Bridges Graduate School seeks to inspire and develop innovative leaders of positive change. Drawing from the
fields of education and positive psychology, courses explore the intersection of cognitive diversity, talent, interest, and motivation as they relate to gifted, regular, and special education, and to the more complex profiles of 2e students.
